What we love about this coffee

It goes without saying why we chose a coffee from Heart. Coming in the top 10 on our top 50 roaster list this year, Heart is one of our favorite roasters to have not been featured in a Roastful box yet. Expect a delicate, floral Ethiopian coffee from this selection from Heart.

How we're brewing it

You’ll notice this coffee has some slower draw down times than some of the other coffees in the box. We’d recommend brewing in a way that allows you to brew a bit quicker, for example brewing with a single pour rather than multiple pulses, or brewing in a way that doesn’t rely as heavily on gravity, something like an aeropress.

What we love about this coffee

We’ve got Blanchards in the box for the second time this year! We loved the Geisha we featured from them earlier this year. We’re switching gears a little bit with this selection. While the geisha was clean, crisp and floral, this coffee from Blanchards is a bit on the funkier side of what we typically feature here at Roastful. We love sharing a good connection with you all, and our contact Stephen at Blanchards mentioned he loves this farm, it’s one that they have bought from in previous harvests, and he got married on this farm! This coffee has a wonderful acidity and vibrant complexity that we know you’re going to love!

How we're brewing it

We find grinding just slightly coarser than your typical grind setting showcases a bit more delicacy with the same high quality acidity!

What we love about this coffee

New roaster in the box! We were able to taste some of A.M.O.C’s coffee earlier this year and were immediately interested in featuring them in a box. We love coffee from Huila and we’re excited to share this selection with you!

How we're brewing it

We found our best results with slightly finer grind settings than your typical brew along with slightly shorter ratios (think like 1:16). Try it out and let us know what you think!
